Making Oobleck

Oobleck is made from cornstarch and water.  The cornflour is not dissolved in water but creates a suspension in the liquid.  This creates a non-Newtonian fluid - this means it acts like a liquid when poured but a solid when force is applied!  We had fun finding out about this fluid - but maybe not the mess we had to clear up afterwards!
