Our location
Windermere Primary School is situated in the south of St. Albans, not far from the A414, M10 and M25. Windermere Avenue is a quiet residential street off Thirlmere Drive which leads onto Drakes Drive. There are good local amenities in the area such as local shops and leisure facilities, and St. Albans town centre is within easy reach of the school.
It is not possible to drive along the whole length of Windermere Avenue as it has been cut in two to provide pedestrian access to the local housing estate. If you enter Windermere Avenue from the Camp Rd end, then you can park near the pathway and walk through to the school. Please park with consideration for our neighbours by not blocking driveways or parking on pavements.
