Clubs & Activities
We have a thriving Breakfast Club from 8.00 – 8.45am every day with as many as 20 children coming to eat breakfast and spend time together before the start of the school day. It costs £3.00 per session which is invoiced at the end of the month, significant discounts are available for pupils in receipt of free school meals (FSM).
Our After School Club co-ordinator is Mrs Gilmartin and she organises the weekly clubs, finding providers, sending out booking forms and overseeing the children at the start of each session. We have had a range of activities which include drama, dance, gymnastics, art & craft and rounders.
There is also a free homework club, which supports children with their homework and hopefully removes some of the stress from parents!
Sessions run from 3.30 – 4.30pm and are run for a half term at a time. A nominal contribution is requested to cover the costs of the materials used. All after school clubs run directly by the school are free to FSM pupils.
Our After School Clubs are very popular and places are limited so parents are encouraged to return their booking slip promptly at the end of each half term. If a club is oversubscribed, there will be a waiting list in case anyone changes their mind and children who missed the opportunity to go to a club will be given the offer of a priority place for next time.
For parents who require after school childcare, for a nominal charge we provide a teaching assistant to escort your child to the local after school provision Owls After School Club.
